First reading (Proverbs 9: 1–6)
A reading from the book of Proverbs.
Wisdom has built her house, she has set up her seven columns; she has dressed her meat, mixed her wine, yes, she has spread her table. She has sent out her maidens; she calls from the heights out over the city: "Let whoever is simple turn in here; To the one who lacks understanding, she says, "Come, eat of my food, and drink of the wine I have mixed! Forsake foolishness that you may live; advance in the way of understanding."
Second reading (Ephesians 5: 15–20)
A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians.
Brothers and sisters: Watch carefully how you live, not as foolish persons but as wise, making the most of the opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not continue in ignorance, but try to understand what is the will of the Lord. And do not get drunk on wine, in which lies debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and playing to the Lord in your hearts, giving thanks always and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.
Gospel (John 6: 51–58)
A reading from the holy Gospel according to John.Jesus said to the crowds: "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world." The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever."

Next, she sent her servants to call from the central square of the city, "Pass by here, you who are fools." To the senseless she states, "Come, eat and drink of the bread and wine I have prepared. Give up your foolishness and you will live; take the straight path of discernment."
Second reading (Ephesians 5: 15–20)
A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians.
Brothers and sisters: Pay attention to how you behave. Do not live as the unwise do, but as responsible persons. Try to make good use of the present time, because these days are evil. So do not be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is. Do not get drunk: wine leads to levity; but be filled with the Holy Spirit. Gather together to pray with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and celebrate the Lord in your heart, giving thanks to God the Father in the name of Christ Jesus, our Lord, always and for everything.
Gospel (John 6: 51–58)

Jesus stated this to the Jews, "I am the living bread which has come from heaven; whoever eats of this bread will live forever. The bread I shall give is my flesh and I will give it for the life of the world." The Jews were arguing among themselves, "How can this man give us flesh to eat?" So Jesus replied, "Truly, I say to you, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. The one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood live with the eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day. My flesh is really food and my blood is drink. Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood, live in me and I in them. Just as the Father, who is life, sent me and I have life from the Father, so whoever eats me will have life from me. This is the bread which came from heaven; unlike that of your ancestors, who ate and later died. Those who eat this bread will live forever."

La Sabiduría edificó su casa, talló sus siete columnas, inmoló sus víctimas, mezcló su vino, y también preparó su mesa. Ella envió a sus servidoras a proclamar sobre los sitios más altos de la ciudad: “El que sea incauto, que venga aquí.” Y al falto de entendimiento, le dice: “Vengan, coman de mi pan, y beban del vino que yo mezclé. Abandonen la ingenuidad, y vivirán, y sigan derecho por el camino de la inteligencia.”
Salmo responsorial (Salmo 34) (Versículos 2–7)
La respuesta es: Gusten y vean que bueno es el Señor.
— Bendeciré al Señor en todo tiempo, su alabanza estará siempre en mis labios. Mi alma se gloría en el Señor; que lo oigan los humildes y se alegren.

No sean irresponsables, sino traten de saber cuál es la voluntad del Señor. No abusen del vino que lleva al libertinaje; más bien, llénense del Espíritu Santo. Cuando se reúnan, reciten salmos, himnos y cantos espirituales, cantando y celebrando al Señor de todo corazón. Siempre y por cualquier motivo, den gracias a Dios, nuestro Padre, en nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Maka kata Yesus kepada mereka: "Aku berkata kepadamu, sesungguhnya jikalau kamu tidak makan daging Anak Manusia dan minum darah-Nya, kamu tidak mempunyai hidup di dalam dirimu. Barangsiapa makan daging-Ku dan minum darah-Ku, ia mempunyai hidup yang kekal dan Aku akan membangkitkan dia pada akhir zaman. Sebab daging-Ku adalah benar-benar makanan dan darah-Ku adalah benar-benar minuman. Barangsiapa makan daging-Ku dan minum darah-Ku, ia tinggal di dalam Aku dan Aku di dalam dia. Sama seperti Bapa yang hidup mengutus Aku dan Aku hidup oleh Bapa, demikian juga barangsiapa yang memakan Aku, akan hidup oleh Aku. Inilah roti yang telah turun dari surga, bukan roti seperti yang dimakan nenek moyangmu dan mereka telah mati. Barangsiapa makan roti ini, ia akan hidup selama-lamanya."

Lisanin ang kamangmangan upang kayo ay mabuhay, at ang landas ng unawa ang tahakin at daanan.”

Sapagkat ang aking laman ay tunay na pagkain, at ang aking dugo ay tunay na inumin. Ang kumakain ng aking laman at umiinom ng aking dugo ay nananatili sa akin, at ako naman sa kanya. 第二読み物（エペソ人第5章：第15詩–第20詩）
この読み物はエペソ人への手紙です。
ですから、自分の行動によくよく注意しなさい。今は困難な時代です。愚か者にならないで、賢くなりなさい。あらゆる機会を十分に生かして、正しい行いをしなさい。軽率に行動せず、主が望んでおられることを実行しなさい。酒を飲みすぎてはいけません。そこには多くの悪が潜んでいるからです。むしろ、御霊に満たされ、支配していただきなさい。聖なる歌をうたい、心の中で主に向かって賛美しながら、互いに主について語り合いなさい。いつも、あらゆることを、主イエス・キリストの名によって、父なる神に感謝しなさい。

La Sapienza si è costruita la casa, ha intagliato le sue sette colonne. Ha ucciso gli animali, ha preparato il vino e ha imbandito la tavola. Ha mandato le sue ancelle a proclamare sui punti più alti della città: “Chi è inesperto accorra qui!” A chi è privo di senno essa dice: “Venite, mangiate il mio pane, bevete il vino che io ho preparato. Abbandonate la stoltezza e vivrete, andate diritti per la via dell'intelligenza.”
Seconda lettura (Efesini 5: 15–20)

Vigilate dunque attentamente sulla vostra condotta, comportandovi non da stolti, ma da uomini saggi; profittando del tempo presente, perché i giorni sono cattivi.
