Sunday readings come in three cycles: A, B, and C. Sundays also have 3 readings, the first reading is from the Old Testament, the second is ordinarily from one of the Epistles or Letters of the New Testament. The third reading is the Gospel. Matthew is read on year A, Mark on year B, and Luke on year C. John's Gospel comes at various times in each liturgical year: on Advent and Lent Sundays and in some readings of year B. Sunday readings are typically posted along with obligatory Mass days.

Evangelio (Marcos 10: 46-52)
Una lectura del Evangelio Santo según San Marcos.
Llegaron a Jericó.
Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 126) (Verses 1-6)
ReplyDeleteThe response is: The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.
When the Lord brought back the exiles to Zion, we were like those moving in a dream. Then our mouths were filled with laughter, and our tongues with songs of joy.
Among the nations it was said, "The Lord has done great things for them." The Lord had done great things for us, and we were glad indeed.
Bring back our exiles, O Lord, like fresh streams in the desert. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs and shouts of joy.
They went forth weeping, bearing the seeds for sowing, they will come home with joyful shouts, bringing their harvested sheaves.
ReplyDeleteEl video viene pronto.
DeleteNo puedo esperar. Espero el rendimiento sea bien.
DeleteLet us recognize before God and one another that we are often blind to the Father's love and to the goodness in one another.

ReplyDeleteLet us pray. Almighty ever-living God, increase our faith, hope, and charity, and make us love what you command, so that we may merit what you promise. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Father Sylvester has done a 14'20"8 homily.
ReplyDeletePriest: Let us pray to Jesus who restored the sight of the blind, that with him we may see the needs of our brothers and sisters. Let us say: Lord, the eyes of all look to you in hope.
ReplyDelete— Lord, see the eyes of the child that open to life, see the eyes full of hope of those who believe in you and fill them with your light. And so we pray: Lord, the eyes of all look to you in hope.
— See the joy in the eyes of those who know how to love; see the eyes dulled by hatred of those who are frustrated. And so we pray: Lord, the eyes of all look to you in hope.
— See the sad eyes of those who suffer; see the lifeless eyes of those who are physically blind. And so we pray: Lord, the eyes of all look to you in hope.
— See the discouraged eyes of those who give up in life; see the fire in the eyes of those who continue the fight. And so we pray: Lord, the eyes of all look to you in hope.
— See the eyes that are shut to people; see the eyes filled with tears of those mourn for those they loved. And so we pray: Lord, the eyes of all look to you in hope.
— Lord, in your Holy name, obtain for us from your Heavenly Father, His providence of the Saint Peter Canisius International Catholic Parish. And so we pray: Lord, the eyes of all look to you in hope.
Priest: Lord Jesus, make your people open their eyes, their hands, their hearts and to look on this world with the same love as you are our Lord forever and ever. Amen.
Look, we pray, O Lord, on the offerings we make to your majesty, that whatever is done by us in your service may be directed above all to your glory. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
ReplyDeleteIt is truly right and just our duty in our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord. For through his Paschal Mystery, he accomplished the marvelous deed, by which he has freed us from the yoke of sin and death, summoning us to the glory of being now called a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for your own possession, to proclaim everywhere your mighty works, for you have called us out of darkness into your own wonderful light. And so, with Angels and Archangels, with Thrones and Dominions, and with all the hosts and Powers of heaven, we sing the hymn of your glory, as without end we acclaim...

ReplyDeleteThis is the Blessing (Closing Prayer) for the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
ReplyDeleteBow your heads and pray for God's blessing.
Dear People of God, we have encountered Jesus and he has given us eyes of faith, a faith that is perhaps hesitant but that nevertheless commits us to follow him as best as we can. May Jesus be our guide and the light of our lives. May everyone and all see his light and may God bless you all: the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
The Mass has ended, and you are sent. Therefore, go in peace and may you walk in the light of Christ. Thanks be to God.
