First Reading (Acts 14: 21–27)
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles.
After Paul and Barnabas proclaimed the gospel in that town and making many disciples, they returned to Lystra and Iconium and on to Antioch. They were strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain firm in the faith, for they stated, “We must go through many trials to enter the Kingdom of God.” In each church they appointed elders and, after praying and fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had placed their faith. Then they traveled through Pisidia, and came to Pamphylia. They preached the Word in Perga and went down to Attalia. From there they sailed back to Antioch, where they had first been commended to God’s grace for the task they had now completed. On their arrival they gathered the Church together and told them all that God had done through them and how he had opened the door of faith to the non-Jews.
Second Reading (Revelation 21: 1–5a)

Then I, John, saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had passed away and no longer was there any sea. I saw the new Jerusalem, the holy city coming down from God, out of heaven, adorned as a bride prepared for her husband. A loud voice came from the throne, “Here is the dwelling of God among mortals: He will pitch his tent among them and they will be his people; he will be God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain, for the world that was has passed away.” The One seated on the throne stated, “See, I make all things new.”

When Judas had gone out, Jesus stated, “Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him. God will glorify him, and he will glorify him very soon. My children, I am with you for only a little while; you will look for me, but, as I already told the Jews, so now I tell you: where I am going you cannot come. Now I shall give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Después de haber evangelizado esta ciudad y haber hechos numerosos discípulos, volvieron a Listra, a Iconio y a Antioquía de Pisidia. Confortaron a sus discípulos y los exhortaron a perseverar en la fe, recordándoles que es necesario pasar por muchas tribulaciones para entrar en el Reino de Dios. En cada comunidad establecieron presbíteros, y con oración y ayuno, los encomendaron al Señor en el que habían creído. Atravesaron Pisidia y llegaron a Panfilia. Luego anunciaron la Palabra en Perge y descendieron a Atalía. Allí se embarcaron para Antioquía, donde habían sido encomendados a la gracia de Dios para realizar la misión que acababa de cumplir. A su llegada, convocaron a los miembros de la Iglesia y les contaron todo lo que Dios había hecho con ellos y cómo había abierto la puerta de la fe a los paganos.

El Señor es bondadoso y compasivo, lento para enojarse y de gran misericordia. El Señor es bueno con todos y tiene compasión de todas sus criaturas.
Que todas sus obras te den gracias, Señor, y tus fieles te bendigan, que anuncien la gloria de tu reino y proclamen tu poder.
Así manifestarán a los hombres tu fuerza y el glorioso esplendor de tu reino. Tu reino es un reino eterno, y tu dominio permanece para siempre.

Paulus dan Barnabas memberitakan Injil di kota itu dan memperoleh banyak murid. Lalu kembalilah mereka ke Listra, Ikonium dan Antiokhia. Di tempat itu mereka menguatkan hati murid-murid itu dan menasihati mereka supaya mereka bertekun di dalam iman, dan mengatakan, bahwa untuk masuk ke dalam Kerajaan Allah kita harus mengalami banyak sengsara. Di tiap-tiap jemaat rasul-rasul itu menetapkan penatua-penatua bagi jemaat itu dan setelah berdoa dan berpuasa, mereka menyerahkan penatua-penatua itu kepada Tuhan, yang adalah sumber kepercayaan mereka. Mereka menjelajah seluruh Pisidia dan tiba di Pamfilia. Di situ mereka memberitakan firman di Perga, lalu pergi ke Atalia, di pantai. Dari situ berlayarlah mereka ke Antiokhia; di tempat itulah mereka dahulu diserahkan kepada kasih karunia Allah untuk memulai pekerjaan, yang telah mereka selesaikan. Setibanya di situ mereka memanggil jemaat berkumpul, lalu mereka menceriterakan segala sesuatu yang Allah lakukan dengan perantaraan mereka, dan bahwa Ia telah membuka pintu bagi bangsa-bangsa lain kepada iman.
Mazmur 145 (Ayat 8–13)
Tanggapan adalah: Aku memuji namamu segala sepanjang masa, rajaku dan Tuhanku.
— Tuhan itu pengasih dan penyayang, panjang sabar dan besar kasih setianya. Tuhan itu baik kepada semua orang, dan penuh rahmat terhadap segala yang dijadikannya.

Ang Magandang Balita ay ipinangaral nina Pablo at Bernabe sa Derbe, at marami silang nahikayat na maging alagad. Pagkatapos, nagbalik sila sa Listra, Iconio, at Antioquia ng Pisidia. Pinalakas nila ang loob ng mga alagad at pinayuhang manatiling tapat sa pananampalataya. “Daranas muna tayo ng maraming kapighatian upang makapasok sa kaharian ng Diyos,” sabi nila sa mga alagad.
