First Reading (Acts 5: 12–16)
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles.
Many miraculous signs and wonders were done among the people through the hands of the apostles. The believers, of one accord, used to meet in Solomon's Porch. None of the others dare to join them, but the people held them in high esteem. So an ever-increasing number of men and women, believed in the Lord. The people carried the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and on mats, so that when Peter passed by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them. The people gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those who troubled by unclean spirits, and all of them were healed.
Second Reading (Revelation 1: 9–13 and 17–19)
A reading from the book of Revelation.
I, John, your brother, who share with you, in Jesus, the sufferings, the kingdom and the patient endurance, was on the island of Patmos, because of the Word of God and witnessing to Jesus. On the Lord's day, the Spirit took possession of me and I heard a voice behind me which sounded like a trumpet, "Write down all that you see, in a book, and send it to the seven Churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea." I turned to see who was speaking to me; behind me were seven golden lampstands and, in the middle of these, I saw someone like a son of man, dressed in a long robe tied with a golden girdle. Seeing him, I fell at his feet like one dead but he touched me with his right hand and stated, "Do not be afraid. It is I, the First and the Last. I am the living one; I was dead and now I am alive for ever and ever; and mine are the keys of death and the netherworld. Now write what you have seen, both what is and what is yet to come."

On the evening of that day, the first day after the Sabbath, the doors were locked where the disciples were, because of their fear of the Jews, but Jesus came and stood in their midst. He stated to them, "Peace be with you.” then he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples kept looking at the Lord and were filled with joy. Again Jesus stated to them, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." After stating this he breathed on them and stated to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit; for those whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven; for those whose sins you retain, they are retained. Thomas, the Twin, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord." But Thomas replied, "Until I have seen in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe." Eight days later, the disciples were inside again and Thomas was with them. Despite the locked doors Jesus came and stood in their midst and stated, "Peace be with you." Then Jesus stated to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands; stretch out your hand and put it into my side. Resist no longer and be a believer." Thomas then stated, "You are my Lord and my God." Jesus replied, "You believe because you see me, do you not? Happy are those who have not seen and believe." There were many other signs that Jesus gave in the presence of his disciples, but they are not recorded in this book. These are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; believe and you will have life through his Name.

Let Israel say, "His loving endures forever." Let the house of Aaron say, "His loving kindness endures forever." Let those who fear the Lord say, "His loving kindness endures forever."
I was pushed hard and about to fall, but the Lord came to my help. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. Joyful shouts of victory are heard in the tents of the just.
The stone rejected by the builders has become the cornerstone. This was the Lord's doing and we marvel at it. This is the day the Lord has made; so let us rejoice and be glad.

Los Apóstoles hacían muchos signos y prodigios en el pueblo. Todos solían congregarse unidos en un mismo espíritu, bajo el pórtico de Salomón, pero ningún otro se atrevía a unirse al grupo de los Apóstoles, aunque el pueblo hablaba muy bien de ellos. Aumentaba cada vez más el número de los que creían en el Señor, tanto hombres como mujeres. Y hasta sacaban a los enfermos a las calles, poniéndolos en catres y camillas, para que cuando Pedro pasara, por lo menos su sombra cubriera a alguno de ellos. La multitud acudía también de las ciudades vecinas a Jerusalén, trayendo enfermos o poseídos por espíritus impuros, y todos quedaban curados.
Salmo responsorial (Salmo 118) (Versículos 2–4, 13–15 y 22–24)
La respuesta es: Den gracias al Señor porque es bueno, su amor es eterno. (¡Aleluya!)

Yo, Juan, hermano de ustedes, con quienes comparto las pruebas, el reino y la perseverancia en Jesús, me encontraba en la isla de Patmos a causa de la palabra de Dios y de las declaraciones de Jesús. Se apoderó de mí el Espíritu el día del Señor y oí a mis espaldas una voz que sonaba como trompeta: “Escribe en un libro lo que veas y envíalo a las siete Iglesias: a Efeso, Esmirna, Pérgamo, Tiatira, Sardes, Filadelfia y Laodicea.” Me volví para ver quién me hablaba. Detrás de mí había siete candeleros de oro, y en medio de los candeleros vi como a un hijo de hombre vestido con una túnica que le llegaba hasta los pies y un cinturón de oro a la altura del pecho. Al verlo caí como muerto a sus pies; pero me tocó con la mano derecha y me dijo: “No temas, soy yo, el Primero y el Ultimo, el que vive. Al atardecer de ese mismo día, el primero de la semana, estando cerradas las puertas del lugar donde se encontraban los discípulos, por temor a los judíos, llegó Jesús y poniéndose en medio de ellos, les dijo: “¡La paz esté con ustedes!” Mientras decía esto, les mostró sus manos y su costado. Los discípulos se llenaron de alegría cuando vieron al Señor. Jesús les dijo de nuevo: “¡La paz esté con ustedes! Como el Padre me envió a mí, yo también los envío a ustedes.” Al decirles esto, sopló sobre ellos y añadió, “Reciban al Espíritu Santo. Los pecados serán perdonados a los que ustedes se los perdonen, y serán retenidos a los que ustedes se los retengan.” Tomás, uno de los Doce, de sobrenombre el Mellizo, no estaba con ellos cuando llegó Jesús. Los otros discípulos le dijeron: “¡Hemos visto al Señor!” Él les respondió: “Si no veo la marca de los clavos en sus manos, si no pongo el dedo en el lugar de los clavos y la mano en su costado, no lo creeré.” Ocho días más tarde, estaban de nuevo los discípulos reunidos en la casa, y estaba con ellos Tomás. Entonces apareció Jesús, estando cerradas las puertas, se puso en medio de ellos y les dijo: “¡La paz esté con ustedes!” Luego dijo a Tomás: “Trae aquí tu dedo: aquí están mis manos. Acerca tu mano: Métela en mi costado. En adelante no seas incrédulo, sino hombre de fe.” Tomas respondió: “¡Señor mío y Dios mío!” Jesús le dijo: “Ahora crees, porque me has visto. ¡Felices los que creen sin haber visto!” Jesús realizó además muchos otros signos en presencia de sus discípulos, que no se encuentran relatados en este Libro. Maraming himalang ginawa ang mga apostol, na pawang nasaksihan ng mga tao. Sa Portiko ni Solomon nagtitipon ang mga mananampalataya, ngunit natatakot sumama sa kanila ang mga di mananampalataya, kahit na pinupuri sila ng mga ito. Samantala, parami nang parami ang mga lalaki at babaing sumasampalataya sa Panginoon. Dinadala sa mga lansangan ang mga maysakit at inilalagay sa mga papag at banig upang pagdaan ni Pedro ay matamaan man lamang ng kanyang anino ang ilan sa kanila. Dumating din ang maraming tao mula sa mga karatig-bayan ng Jerusalem, dala ang kanilang mga maysakit at mga pinapahirapan ng masasamang espiritu; at gumaling silang lahat.

Tuwang-tuwa ang mga alagad nang makita nila ang Panginoon. Muling sinabi ni Jesus, “Sumainyo ang kapayapaan! Kung paanong isinugo ako ng Ama, isinusugo ko rin kayo.” Pagkatapos, sila'y hiningahan niya at sinabi, “Tanggapin ninyo ang Espiritu Santo. Kung patatawarin ninyo ang mga kasalanan ninuman ay pinatawad na ang mga iyon, subalit ang hindi ninyo patatawarin ay hindi nga pinatawad.” Ngunit si Tomas, na tinatawag na Kambal at kabilang sa Labindalawa, ay wala roon nang dumating si Jesus. Kaya't sinabi sa kanya ng ibang mga alagad, “Nakita namin ang Panginoon!” Sumagot si Tomas, “Hindi ako maniniwala hangga't hindi ko nakikita ang mga butas ng mga pako sa kanyang mga kamay, at hangga't hindi ko nailalagay ang aking daliri sa mga iyon at nahahawakan ang kanyang tagiliran.” Makalipas ang isang linggo, muling nagkatipon sa loob ng bahay ang mga alagad at kasama nila si Tomas. Sinabi niya, “Sumainyo ang kapayapaan!” At sinabi niya kay Tomas, “Ilagay mo ang iyong daliri dito at tingnan mo ang aking mga kamay. Ilagay mo ang iyong kamay sa aking tagiliran. Huwag ka nang mag-alinlangan pa, sa halip ay maniwala ka.” Sumagot si Tomas, “Panginoon ko at Diyos ko!” Sinabi sa kanya ni Jesus, “Naniniwala ka na ba dahil nakita mo ako? Pinagpala silang hindi nakakita gayunma'y naniniwala.” Marami pang mga himalang ginawa si Jesus na nasaksihan ng mga alagad na hindi nakasulat sa aklat na ito. Ngunit ang mga nakasulat dito ay isinulat upang kayo'y sumampalataya na si Jesus ang Cristo, ang Anak ng Diyos, at sa pagsampalatayang iyon ay magkaroon kayo ng buhay sa pamamagitan niya.
