First reading (Acts 5: 12–16)
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles.
Many signs and wonders were done among the people at the hands of the apostles. They were all together in Solomon's portico. None of the others dared to join them, but the people esteemed them. Yet more than ever, believers in the Lord, great numbers of men and women, were added to them. Thus they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on one or another of them. A large number of people from the towns in the vicinity of Jerusalem also gathered, bringing the sick and those disturbed by unclean spirits, and they were all cured.
Second reading (Revelation 1: 9–11a, 12–13 and 17–19)
A reading from the book of Revelation.
I, John, your brother, who share with you the distress, the kingdom, and the endurance we have in Jesus, found myself on the island called Patmos because I proclaimed God's word and gave testimony to Jesus. I was caught up in spirit on the Lord's day and heard behind me a voice as loud as a trumpet, which said, "Write on a scroll what you see." Then I turned to see whose voice it was that spoke to me, and when I turned, I saw seven gold lampstands and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, wearing an ankle-length robe, with a gold sash around his chest. When I caught sight of him, I fell down at his feet as though dead. He touched me with his right hand and said, "Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last, the one who lives. Once I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever. I hold the keys to death and the netherworld. Write down, therefore, what you have seen, and what is happening, and what will happen afterwards."

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the doors were locked, where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, "Peace be with you." When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained." Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nailmarks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe." Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, "Peace be with you." Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe." Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed." Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples that are not written in this book. But these are written that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that through this belief you may have life in his name.

None of the others dare to join them, but the people held them in high esteem. So an ever-increasing number of men and women, believed in the Lord. The people carried the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and on mats, so that when Peter passed by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them. The people gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those who troubled by unclean spirits, and all of them were healed.

On the Lord's day, the Spirit took possession of me and I heard a voice behind me which sounded like a trumpet, "Write down all that you see, in a book, and send it to the seven Churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea." I turned to see who was speaking to me; behind me were seven golden lampstands and, in the middle of these, I saw someone like a son of man, dressed in a long robe tied with a golden girdle. Seeing him, I fell at his feet like one dead but he touched me with his right hand and stated, "Do not be afraid. It is I, the First and the Last. I am the living one; I was dead and now I am alive for ever and ever; and mine are the keys of death and the netherworld. Now write what you have seen, both what is and what is yet to come."

Let the house of Israel say, "His mercy endures forever." Let the house of Aaron say, "His mercy endures forever." Let those who fear the LORD say, "His mercy endures forever."
I was hard pressed and was falling, but the LORD helped me. My strength and my courage is the LORD, and he has been my savior. The joyful shout of victory in the tents of the just.
The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. By the LORD has this been done; it is wonderful in our eyes. This is the day the LORD has made; let us be glad and rejoice in it.

I was pushed hard and about to fall, but the Lord came to my help. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. Joyful shouts of victory are heard in the tents of the just.
The stone rejected by the builders has become the keystone. This was the Lord's doing and we marvel at it. This is the day the Lord has made; so let us rejoice and be glad.

Los Apóstoles hacían muchos signos y prodigios en el pueblo. Todos solían congregarse unidos en un mismo espíritu, bajo el pórtico de Salomón, pero ningún otro se atrevía a unirse al grupo de los Apóstoles, aunque el pueblo hablaba muy bien de ellos. Aumentaba cada vez más el número de los que creían en el Señor, tanto hombres como mujeres. Y hasta sacaban a los enfermos a las calles, poniéndolos en catres y camillas, para que cuando Pedro pasara, por lo menos su sombra cubriera a alguno de ellos. La multitud acudía también de las ciudades vecinas a Jerusalén, trayendo enfermos o poseídos por espíritus impuros, y todos quedaban curados.
Salmo responsorial (Salmo 118) (Versículos 2–4, 13–15 y 22–24)
La respuesta es: Den gracias al Señor porque es bueno, su amor es eterno. (¡Aleluya!)
• Que lo diga el pueblo de Israel: ¡es eterno su amor! Que lo diga la familia de Aarón: ¡es eterno su amor! Que lo digan los que temen al Señor: ¡es eterno su amor!

Se apoderó de mí el Espíritu el día del Señor y oí a mis espaldas una voz que sonaba como trompeta: “Escribe en un libro lo que veas y envíalo a las siete Iglesias: a Efeso, Esmirna, Pérgamo, Tiatira, Sardes, Filadelfia y Laodicea.” Me volví para ver quién me hablaba. Detrás de mí había siete candeleros de oro, y en medio de los candeleros vi como a un hijo de hombre vestido con una túnica que le llegaba hasta los pies y un cinturón de oro a la altura del pecho. Al verlo caí como muerto a sus pies; pero me tocó con la mano derecha y me dijo: “No temas, soy yo, el Primero y el Ultimo, el que vive. Al atardecer de ese mismo día, el primero de la semana, estando cerradas las puertas del lugar donde se encontraban los discípulos, por temor a los judíos, llegó Jesús y poniéndose en medio de ellos, les dijo: “¡La paz esté con ustedes!” Mientras decía esto, les mostró sus manos y su costado. Los discípulos se llenaron de alegría cuando vieron al Señor. Jesús les dijo de nuevo: “¡La paz esté con ustedes! Como el Padre me envió a mí, yo también los envío a ustedes.” Al decirles esto, sopló sobre ellos y añadió, “Reciban al Espíritu Santo. Los pecados serán perdonados a los que ustedes se los perdonen, y serán retenidos a los que ustedes se los retengan.” Tomás, uno de los Doce, de sobrenombre el Mellizo, no estaba con ellos cuando llegó Jesús. Los otros discípulos le dijeron: “¡Hemos visto al Señor!” Él les respondió: “Si no veo la marca de los clavos en sus manos, si no pongo el dedo en el lugar de los clavos y la mano en su costado, no lo creeré.” Ocho días más tarde, estaban de nuevo los discípulos reunidos en la casa, y estaba con ellos Tomás. Entonces apareció Jesús, estando cerradas las puertas, se puso en medio de ellos y les dijo: “¡La paz esté con ustedes!” Luego dijo a Tomás: “Trae aquí tu dedo: aquí están mis manos. Acerca tu mano: Métela en mi costado. Dinadala sa mga lansangan ang mga maysakit at inilalagay sa mga papag at banig upang pagdaan ni Pedro ay matamaan man lamang ng kanyang anino ang ilan sa kanila. Ngunit ang mga nakasulat dito ay isinulat upang kayo'y sumampalataya na si Jesus ang Cristo, ang Anak ng Diyos, at sa pagsampalatayang iyon ay magkaroon kayo ng buhay sa pamamagitan niya.

Dan oleh rasul-rasul diadakan banyak tanda dan mujizat di antara orang banyak. Semua orang percaya selalu berkumpul di Serambi Salomo dalam persekutuan yang erat. Orang-orang lain tidak ada yang berani menggabungkan diri kepada mereka. Namun mereka sangat dihormati orang banyak. Dan makin lama makin bertambahlah jumlah orang yang percaya kepada Tuhan, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan, bahkan mereka membawa orang-orang sakit ke luar, ke jalan raya, dan membaringkannya di atas balai-balai dan tilam, supaya, apabila Petrus lewat, setidak-tidaknya bayangannya mengenai salah seorang dari mereka. Dan juga orang banyak dari kota-kota di sekitar Yerusalem datang berduyun-duyun serta membawa orang-orang yang sakit dan orang-orang yang diganggu roh jahat. Dan mereka semua disembuhkan.

Pada hari Tuhan aku dikuasai oleh Roh dan aku mendengar dari belakangku suatu suara yang nyaring, seperti bunyi sangkakala, katanya: "Apa yang engkau lihat, tuliskanlah di dalam sebuah kitab dan kirimkanlah kepada ketujuh jemaat ini: ke Efesus, ke Smirna, ke Pergamus, ke Tiatira, ke Sardis, ke Filadelfia dan ke Laodikia." Lalu aku berpaling untuk melihat suara yang berbicara kepadaku. Dan setelah aku berpaling, tampaklah kepadaku tujuh kaki dian dari emas. Dan di tengah-tengah kaki dian itu ada seorang serupa Anak Manusia, berpakaian jubah yang panjangnya sampai di kaki, dan dadanya berlilitkan ikat pinggang dari emas.

Memang masih banyak tanda lain yang dibuat Yesus di depan mata murid-murid-Nya, yang tidak tercatat dalam kitab ini, tetapi semua yang tercantum di sini telah dicatat, supaya kamu percaya, bahwa Yesuslah Mesias, Anak Allah, dan supaya kamu oleh imanmu memperoleh hidup dalam nama-Nya.

一方、使徒たちは、神殿のソロモンの廊で定期的に集会を開いていました。目をみはるような奇跡も、数多く行われました。ほかの人々は、その仲間入りはしないまでも、使徒たちを心から尊敬していました。こうして、男女を問わず、主を信じる者がますます増えていきました。人々はついに、病人を床に寝かせたまま通りへかつぎ出し、「せめて、ペテロ様の影だけでもかかれば……」と願うほどになりました。また、エルサレム付近の町々からも大ぜいの人が、病人や、悪霊につかれた人たちを連れて来ました。その人たちは一人残らずいやされました。
第二読み物（ヨハネの黙示録1章：9詩—13詩と17詩—19詩）
読み物はヨハネの黙示録です。
この手紙を書いているのはあなたがたの兄弟ヨハネで、私もまた、あなたがたと共に主のために苦しみ、忍耐を共にし、教えられ、そして、御国に入る権利をいただいている者です。私は、神のことばを宣べ伝え、また、イエス・キリストがなさったことを告げ知らせたために、パトモス島に流されています。さて、ある主の日（日曜日）のことでした。私が礼拝をしていると、突然、うしろから大きな声が聞こえたのです。まるでラッパの響きのようで、こう語りかけました。「わたしは初めであり、終わりである。これからあなたの目に映ることを書き記し、アジヤにあるエペソ、スミルナ、ペルガモ、テアテラ、サルデス、フィラデルフィヤ、ラオデキヤの七つの教会に送りなさい。」いったいだれだろうとふり向くと、私のうしろに七つの金の燭台がありました。そして、その燭台の真ん中に、一人の人が立っていました。その方は、「人の子」と呼ばれるイエスのようであり、長い衣をまとって、胸には金の帯を締めていました。それを見た時、私はその足もとに倒れて、死んだようになりました。しかしその方は、私に右手を置いて、こう言われたのです。「恐れてはいけない。わたしは初めであり、終わりです。死んでのち復活し、今は永遠に生きる者となり、死と地獄とのかぎを持っています。いま見たこと、また、引き続き示されることを書きとめなさい。
福音書（ヨハネ20章：19詩—31詩）
ヨハネの福音書です。
同じ日曜日の夕方のことです。弟子たちは、ユダヤ人を恐れて戸にしっかりかぎをかけ、肩を寄せ合うようにして集まっていました。その時、突然イエスが一同の中にお立ちになったのです。「平安があるように。」イエスはまず、こうあいさつされてから、手とわき腹をお見せになりました。主を見た弟子たちの喜びは、どれほどだったでしょう。イエスはもう一度言われました。「平安があるように。父がわたしをお遣わしになったように、わたしもあなたがたを遣わします。」そして一同に息を吹きかけ、また言われました。「聖霊を受けなさい。あなたがたが赦すなら、だれの罪も赦されます。あなたがたが赦さない罪は赦されません。」十二弟子の一人のトマスは、その時、その場に居合わせませんでした。それでみんなが、「ほんとうだ。主にお会いしたんだ」と口をすっぱくして話しましたが、本気にしません。頑としてこう言いはるばかりです。「主の御手に釘あとを見、この指をそこに差し入れ、この手を主のわき腹に差し入れてみなければ、信じない。」八日たちました。その日も、弟子たちは集まっていました。今度はトマスもいっしょです。戸にはかぎがかかっていましたが、突然、前の時と同じようにイエスが一同の中に立ち、「平安があるように」とあいさつなさいました。それからイエスは、トマスにおっしゃいました。「さあ、あなたの指をこの手に当ててみなさい。あなたの手をこのわき腹に差し入れてみなさい。いつまでも疑っていないで信じなさい。」「ああ、わが主、わが神よ！」感きわまって、トマスは叫びました。「わたしを見たから信じたのですか。しかし、見なくても信じる者は幸いです。」私がこの書に記した奇跡のほかにも、もっと多くの奇跡をイエスが行われるのを、弟子たちは見ました。しかし、これらのことを特に書いたのは、あなたがたがイエスは神の子キリストであると信じるため、またそう信じていのちを得るためです。
