First Reading (Ezekiel 18: 25-28)
A reading from the book of the prophet Ezekiel.
You state: The Lord's way is not just! Why, Israel! Is my position wrong? Is it not rather that yours is wrong? If the righteous man dies after turning from his righteous deeds and sinning, he dies because of his sins. And if the wicked man does what is good and right, after turning from the sins he committed, he will save his life. He will live and not die, because he has opened his eyes and turned from the sins he had committed.
Second Reading (Philippians 2: 1-11)
A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians.
Brothers and sisters: If I may advise you in the name of Christ and if you can hear it as the voice of love; if we share the same spirit and are capable of mercy and compassion, then I beg of you make me very happy: have one love, one spirit, one feeling, do nothing through rivalry or vain conceit. On the contrary let each of you gently consider the others as more important than yourselves. Do not seek your own interest, but rather that of others. Let what was seen in Christ Jesus be seen in you: Though being divine in nature, he did not claim in fact equality with God, but emptied himself, taking on the nature of a servant, made in human likeness, and in his appearance found as a man. He humbled himself by being obedient to death, death on the cross. That is why God exalted him and gave him the Name which outshines all names, so that at the Name of Jesus all knees should bend in heaven, on earth and among the dead, and all tongues proclaim that Christ Jesus is the Lord to the glory of God the Father.
Gospel (Matthew 21: 28-32)
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew.
Jesus stated this in front of the chief priests, the teachers of the Law, and the Jewish authorities, "What do you think of this? A man had two sons. He went to the first and stated to him: 'Son, today go and work in my vineyard.' And the son answered: 'I do not want to.' But later he thought better of it and went. Then the father went to the second and gave him the same command. This son replied: 'I will go, sir,' but he did not go. Which of the two did what the father wanted? They answered, "The first." And Jesus stated to them, "Truly, I say to you: the publicans and the prostitutes are ahead of you on the way to the kingdom of heaven. For John came to show you the way of goodness but you did not believe him, yet the publicans and the prostitutes did. You were witnesses of this, but you neither repented nor believed him."

Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 25) (Verses 4-9)

Teach me your ways, O Lord; make known to me your paths. Guide me in your truth and instruct me, for you are my God, my savior; I hope in you all day long.
Remember your compassion, O Lord, your unfailing love from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth, but in your love remember me.
Good and upright, the Lord teaches sinners his way. He teaches the humble of heart and guides them in what is right.

Usted dice: ¡El camino de Dios no es justo! ¿Por qué, Israel? ¿Es mi posición incorrecta? ¿No sería que suyo es incorrecto? Si un hombre recto muere después girando de actos buenos y pecando, él muere porque de sus pecados. Además, si el hombre malo hace qué es bueno y correcto, después girando de los pecados cometió, él salvará su vida. Él vivirá y no morir, porque él ha abierto sus ojos y girado de los pecados cometió.

Help us to hurry toward the eternal life you promise and come to share in the joys of your kingdom. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
God of mercy, accept our offering and make it a source of blessing for us. We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord. Amen.

Jesús dice este enfrente de los sacerdotes jefes, los profesores de la Ley, y las autoridades de judíos, “¿Qué piensan de este? Un hombre tiene dos hijos. Fue al primer hijo y dice, ‘Hijo, para hoy, trabaje en mi viña.’ El hijo responda, ‘No quiero trabajar.’ Pero, él pensó mejor de lo y salió a la viña. Entonces, el padre fue al segundo hijo y dio él el mismo mando. Este hijo responda, ‘Iré, mi padre.’ Pero, no va a la viña. ¿Cuáles de los dos hecho qué el padre quiso?” Ustedes respondan, “El primer hijo.” Jesús entonces dice a ellos, “Verdaderamente, yo digo a ustedes, los publicanos y las prostitutas son delante de ustedes del camino de cielo. Por Juan vino para presentar a ustedes el camino de bondad pero ustedes no creyeron en él, todavía los publicanos y las prostitutas creyeron en él. Ustedes fueron espectadores de este, pero ninguno se arrepentir y creído en él.

Hermanos y hermanas: Si puedo aconsejar ustedes en el nombre de Cristo y si pueden oírlo como la voz de amor; si compartimos el espíritu mismo y son capaces de misericordia y compasión, entonces yo suplico ustedes para hacen mí feliz: tener un amor, un espíritu, un sentimiento, no hacen nada a través de rivalidad o engreimiento vanidoso. En el contrario, permitan cada de ustedes ligeramente consideran los otros como más importante que tus mismos. No busque sus interesas, pero las interesas de otras personas. Permite qué hubo visto, se visto en usted: Aunque siendo divino en naturaleza, no ha adquirido igualdad con Dios, pero vació él mismo, tomando en la naturaleza del sirviente, creó en la semejanza de humano, y en su aparición, se ha encontrado como un hombre. Él se humilla por siendo obediente a muerte. Muerte en la cruz. Ese es el razón Dios exaltó él y se dio el nombre que eclipsa todos nombres, así que al nombre de Jesús, todas rodillas debería flexionar en cielo, en tierra y entre los muertos, y todas lenguas proclaman que Jesús Cristo es el Señor a la gloria de Dios del Padre.

Ustedes dicen: La manera de ver las cosas que tiene Yahvé no es la correcta. Oigan, pues, gente de Israel: ¿así que mi manera de ver las cosas no es correcta? ¿No lo será más bien la de ustedes? Cuando el justo se aparta de la justicia y comete el mal y por eso muere, muere por culpa de la injusticia que cometió. Del mismo modo, si el malvado se aparta de la mala vida que llevaba y actúa según el derecho y la justicia, vivirá. Si se aparta de todas las infidelidades que cometía, debe vivir, pero no morir.
Salmo responsorial (Salmo 25) (Versículos 4–9)

• Muéstrame, Señor, tus caminos, enséñame tus senderos. Guíame por el camino de tu fidelidad; enséñame, porque tú eres mi Dios y mi salvador, y yo espero en ti todo el día.

Si la exhortación en nombre de Cristo tiene algún valor, si algo vale el consuelo que brota del amor o la comunión en el Espíritu, o la ternura y la compasión, les ruego que hagan perfecta mi alegría, permaneciendo bien unidos. Tengan un mismo amor, un mismo corazón, un mismo pensamiento. No hagan nada por espíritu de discordia o de vanidad, y que la humildad los lleve a estimar a los otros como superiores a ustedes mismos. Que cada uno busque no solamente su propio interés, sino también el de los demás. Tengan los mismos sentimientos de Cristo Jesús. El, que era de condición divina, no consideró esta igualdad con Dios como algo que debía guardar celosamente: al contrario, se anonadó a sí mismo, tomando la condición de servidor y haciéndose semejante a los hombres. Y presentándose con aspecto humano, se humilló hasta aceptar por obediencia la muerte y muerte de cruz. Por eso, Dios lo exaltó y le dio el Nombre que está sobre todo nombre, para que al nombre de Jesús, se doble toda rodilla en el cielo, en la tierra y en los abismos, y toda lengua proclame para gloria de Dios Padre: “Jesucristo es el Señor.”
